STEVEN GLICKMAN ARCHITECT
Steven Glickman, RA, NCARB founded his practice in Easton, PA in 2000. Mr. Glickman has over thirty years of experience in architectural design and project management gained while employed by architectural firms, private corporations and banking institutions in Pennsylvania and Michigan. This experience encompasses a variety of types including commercial and institutional projects, as well as single and multi-family residential design.
Mr. Glickman and his practice is decidedly urban in its focus and includes numerous historic renovation and adaptive reuse projects located within National Register Historic Districts throughout the Lehigh Valley. Many of these projects have qualified for substantial tax incentives through the National Park Service Rehabilitation Investment Tax Credits program administered regionally through the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. As a result of this experience, Mr. Glickman is fully knowledgeable about and capable of guiding clients through the PA Department of Interior Rehabilitation Guidelines.
His abiding commitment to the region and its urban renewal initiatives is evidenced in his substantial portfolio of renovations of commercial structures, transformations of designated blighted buildings into housing, as well as renovations of abandoned mills and schools.
EDUCATION
Mr. Glickman received a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors for the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL. Because he is dedicated to keeping current with all matters that impact architectural design and practice, Mr. Glickman actively participates in many continuing education programs offered through the American Institute of Architects, the US Green Building Council, the State of Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and the American Bar Association, among others
